...overall, I agree with the guy in this video that says it really is not important and we can all live without Twitter. 

Still, the platform seemed a big deal for some time because so many media people used it as a form of communication for breaking news. I am kind of looking forward to see what happens when it crashes. Not because I hold a grudge against Twitter or Musk, but just because social media has had such an impact on our societal discourse, and probably mainly in a negative way, that it will be interesting to see what happens. 

I read that the engineers that essentially ran all of the day to day aspects of Twitter are gone. The claims are the platform is on coast and once it hits the first issue, it will start to crash. The woman in this video says that she is already seeing issues with it. I definitely don't think Musk is the smartest person in the room, he strikes me as a petulant teen that wants attention. In this way he reminds me of Trump, who has permission to Tweet again, but I guess has some sort of contract with Truth Social (his own crashing platform) to post there.
