That the majority of them, the vast majority of them, see Trump for the monster that he is, a monster that kills and eats democracy. He's been on a tear of late ranting about throwing out the Constitution, about invoking the insurrection act the moment he is reelected and putting our military on the streets of our cities, about immediately arresting all his enemies, including guys like Bill Barr and General Milley not to mention jailing a huge number of Democrats. The guy is a liar and agent of chaos that is about destroying this country as fast as he can. 

Of course, plenty of people are testing my faith, like Reuters publishing a story this morning about Trump leading Biden in polling in 6 swing states. Like a think tank called Project 2025 which is scheming how to remake the United States into an authoritarian dictatorship under Trump if he is reelected. This will include, destroying our justice system, wiping out our electoral system, eliminating the FBI, eliminating the CIA, destroying our educational system, and leaving this country open to all and any attacks enemies would make on it, while stealing everything including whatever was once nailed down, and pretty much aligning the US with the dictators in the world Trump respects because they rule through fear and the threat of death if you disobey them. 

My faith is in the idea that most people, like 70% of the population, knows this is what they would get from Trump. Sure, I think David is right, we've always had fascists here but I am going to say, they are in the minority in a big way. Of course, you don't need a majority to destroy a country, a small insane group can do plenty of harm, but I have to think, hope, believe, we are too strong and too smart a country to allow that to take place. 

That's reasonable, isn't it?
