It's his last run at it so Trump does not have to pretend to be anything other than what he is. Great that he actually quoted Hitler. I do wonder if quoting Hitler was his idea, I lean toward probably not because I honestly do not think he has any sense of history and could not come up with a quote like that. I'm sure he knew he was quoting Adolf when he did that but my money would be on someone told him to do that.
People say that it is underestimating him to just write him off as stupid but I can't help it. To me, the guy comes across as a total moron. I can't believe he is the mastermind behind any of this garbage, he enjoys it sure, but I have to think someone else is telling him what to say. If I were to guess, I think probably Roger Stone gave him the Hitler quote and told him to say it.
I agree and have said, the solution is the Republican party, actual elected Republicans and party officials, have to stand up to him and say, "This is not who we are." they have to show a spine.
So far, not a lot of that going on but I mean, if a reporter says to one of these people "Trump just quoted Hitler, wouldn't you say that's out of line? Do you think he should be running for president?"
What is their response? How do they defend that? Pretend they don't know he was quoting Hitler?
It's just so damn absurd.
