Now, don't look at me because I have no answers.  I am so befuddled over all things Trump.  I really am (I just got over a back-and-forth with a former co-worker who has no problem with the injuring of 144 police officers on Jan 6; nor the disparaging military remarks - so I think this only illustrates my frustration - I mean, what can one say when police officers ignore Jan 6, the same as military people over his remarks?).  It is unlike anything I have ever seen before and I almost believe, in strictly relative terms, we are experiencing something never really faced before (why I suggest in "relative" terms is because I don't think you can compare what has been going on these past five years to any other period in history because of where current technology and information systems now exist in contrast to say during Hitler's times - with our levels of communication methods in current times, it almost makes Trump's arrival and accession even more unbelievable).

So, my wonder in all of this is, has the constant coverage of what a horrible person Trump is actually done more harm, than good?

What I'm getting at is, from his entry into presidential politics, it has been a good run of new and disgusting revelations about this man and his behavior and it has only cemented his followers in his universe more and more.  

My question is then, could there have been more effective ways to deal with him than those of exposing his horrible nature, character, and behavior?

Or, are we actually doing quite well with all of the possible new presidential voters in 2024?

Still, at the end of the day, I just can't get over how little than less than half of the voters in the last presidential election seem to be even more of a Trump supporter than in 2020. 

What I feel now is like that of waking up in an insane asylum while being the only sane person in there.
