Two questions: Are you implying that Karl Marx was a fascist, 45 years before fascism was adopted by Mussolini, and in spite of the undeniable fact that the fascists' first enemy was and always has been and will be socialism?

It's not curious in the slightest. Roman imagery abounded in the US, and still does, particularly in American civic architecture. The Lincoln Memorial was designed before WWI, and completed long before Mussolini rose to power. As usual, your biases, arrogance, and general ignorance combine in a toxic stew.
