Icon A word about Jack Smith....

One thing that really baffles me is why Smith chose to use Florida as the charging jurisdiction for the documents case.   I mean, if a car is stolen in Chicago and recovered in St. Louis, St. Louis won't be trying the stolen vehicle case (though, St. Louis could try a possession of a stolen vehicle case).

The original crime occurred in DC, so my thoughts are that Smith knew he could win a slamdunk case in DC and that the Conservatives would rail on that endlessly, and with his belief he could win a slam dunk case anywhere, chose the worst place possible to try this case.

It's like the thought was, "If we can win in Florida, then that will prove this is a legitimate conviction. And by the way, we have a slam dunk."
