Project 2025 will be weaponizing the Justice Department should, God forbid, trump win. Keeping the Justice Department separate from the presidency like the current president does is how it’s supposed to be. I also think that if someone was “weaponizing” the Justice Department, they wouldn’t go after their own child, especially on a charge that people typically aren’t charged with.
