Well, I'm glad someone enjoyed reading it. It was amazing to actually live through it. The beautiful woman I spoke about now lives with me a short distance from Walden Pond. We live literally right above the Assabet river on the second floor of what I'm told was once the carriage house of the estate that had been here. I can fish out the window of our breakfast nook which almost hangs right out over the river off the back of the house. Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote about the Assabet river in his introduction to "Mosses From An Old Manse" : "Rowing our boats against the current, between wide meadows, we turned aside into the Assabeth. A more lovely stream than this, for a mile above it's junction with the Concord, has never flowed on earth--nowhere, indeed, except to lave the interior regions of a poet's imagination." So I think I am a lucky man to live surrounded by such beauty. See, romance and love ain't dead. Those rumors about them being bludgeoned to death in an alley in Manhattan just weren't true. Peace, Reg
