Why did David & David stop making music? It just stopped meaning what it was supposed to, and as hard as we tried, we couldnt put Humpty together again. Like space, celebrity is a vacuum, and requires special equipment that we hadnt been checked out on. I consider the collapse of David & David the best thing that ever happened to me, in spite of all the suffering that followed. If it hadnt happened, I'd be one of the monsters that I rail against. I think Dave feels the same way.
