And as far as peacekeeping missions go, you're absolutely right. I think we can all agree that the proper place for the military is in propping up tin pot fascist dictatorships around the Third World and carpet bombing and strafing civilians in the desert regions.
I'm sorry, Richard, and I'm all for spirited debate, but this kind of McCarthyite playground knee-jerk reactionary name-calling is something I find personally objectionable. Not only is it offensive in it's own right, but it actually strangles debate, as the only response to it is either a dumbfounded, pitying silence, or an angry emotional attack like the one that I descended to above.
