Before anyone can cast any doubts over the `balance` of my opinions, should William Daley have to give account for the fact his father allegedley pulled off for JFK the very thing he's trying to pull out of the hat for Mr. Gore? Also why isn't news that Messeres Fabiani and Lehane are trying the same stalling tactics here that they used in the Starr investigation for Mr Clinton? (Tactic Being - Waste time, slant evidence and blame the other guy)
Finally, to try and keep things halfway amicable, I came across this earlier and thought it cast a more satirical spin on the way things have been transpiring down in the sunshine state...

AS A FORMER Jeopardy question writer, I couldn't resist turning the current controversy into a short quiz:
(a) Do you believe that recounts of close elections should be done by:
1) machines
2) hand counts by Swiss bankers
3) hand counts by the accountants who tabulate the Oscars
4) hand counts by local political hacks
(b) Do you believe that recounts should be done:
1) once, by the same method in all counties
2) twice in all counties, using the same method
3) twice in all counties, using different methods in different counties
4) twice in selected counties, using hand counts that increase the vote totals in those counties alone
(c) How should recounts be finally certified:
1) by the State's Secretary of State
2) by the Supreme Court
3) by the media
4) undecided for now; maybe selected counties will need to vote again.
Now the magical part. Add up the numbers representing your choice.
If your total is "12" (i.e. if you answered #4 for all four questions),you also believe in income redistribution through taxation, stronger government regulation of business, Anita Hill, and abortion rights.
If your total is "3" (i.e. if you answered #1 for all four questions), you also believe in lower taxes, a strong military, Clarence Thomas, and the end to racial preferences.
That's right: conservatives believe in machine recounts, liberals in hand re-counts (for selected counties).
It's a matter of principle, of core ideology.
And if your total is "12", maybe that ideology is called The End Justifies The Means.
