Thanks for the recommendation on Reich's 18, though I have never found his music particularly uplifting, it is fascinating from a compositional viewpoint.
I'd HIGHLY recommend Arvo Part's LITANY; ECM 1592. Meditative choral work by the Hilliard Ensemble coupled with beautiful chamber orchestra especially on the piece entitled, "Trisagion".
