Yes, if you won the lottery of being born with the gifts of intelligence and empathy, well, the world is going to hurt. You will recognize things, feel things, some other people don't feel. 

It makes life more painful and difficult at times, but the world does, as I have been told many times, require people like us...because we will, even if just in small ways, make a difference. And if the world were made up only of Donald Trump types, humankind would not have lasted as long as it has. He is a vicious and cruel man that only believes in dealing with problems in vicious and cruel ways. Some people agree with that, we've seen it with our own eyes, they voted for it. This is painful for us to watch happen, but some will celebrate the deaths of millions of people...people they have never met, but they don't like...because it feels satisfying to them to have those people removed. To them, that feels like a victory, not the tragedy we see and feel. 

I don't believe all the people that voted for Trump feel this, but some do. 

I was driving around yesterday and on the ride home in the evening I had CNN on the radio...I shouldn't have but I did. I believe it was Anderson Cooper and he had a guy on and he asked the guy about this specific program we are talking about here. He asked what would happen if Trump managed to immediately cut all funding to the program, which is his plan, and the guy said something like "Well, short term, probably rapidly 10 million deaths. Probably many more to follow that because of what shutting that program down causes." 

I winced when he said that. First, because this is now what the United States represents. We will do something, and I know it is not "we" it is him, but the world looks at it as it is all of us, where we casually kill tens of millions of people...that's essentially a genocide. This is real, this is happening, this is on the news being casually discussed. 

Shortly after that in the next segment they played the clips of Trump saying he was going to clear out the Gaza strip and relocate any surviving Palestinians to other countries. Egypt and Jordan or anybody else that would take them. I will point out that at the start of that war Egypt and Jordan said they absolutely were not going to take in a single Palestinian. When they asked Trump if they would bring the Palestinians back to Gaza he flatly said no, they would instead build a new beautiful resort area for the world there. 

Well, that is called ethnic cleansing, clearing a country of a people so other people can have it. This was a US president openly saying he was all for ethnic cleansing. We now stand for that. The world did not react well to that, no surprise. 

This prompted a US intelligence official to say "Americans are going to want to cancel travel plans to foreign countries, particularly Europe." because we, as a people, are now not liked around the world and we will be targets now in many foreign nations. Canadians are booing our national anthem at sporting events. Trump in literally days after becoming president again has built more hatred toward Americans and our country than we've probably seen in our lifetimes...and he is just warming up. I heard a Canadian official say "Yes, it is true, Canadians do not like Americans right now. They are not welcome in our country. It is due to the actions of the Trump administration." and then she politely apologized for that, because she was Canadian, of course. 

Yeah, so you and me we feel shame. We did not do these things, we did not vote for these things, but we feel the shame of them because it is our country doing them and by default we will absorb blame for them.

Our president supports killing off tens of millions of people in Africa, ethnic cleansing in Gaza, and threatening our allies like Canada, Greenland, and Denmark. 

He took just days to make us hated around the globe and to work toward building that hate through plans to create death, destruction, and division. 

I should not turn on the radio, every time I do it spits some abomination at me. I got in the car and I hear Trump talking about the destruction and elimination of the Department of Education...teachers, which my wife is, are now the enemy of the people. Teachers. Fucking seriously. 

Some reporter asks Trump "So, what do you say to Linda McMahon the woman you nominated to run the department you just signed an order to destroy?" and he responds "I told her I want her to put herself out of a job as quickly as possible."

That is the US president proudly declaring he wants the destruction of the Department of Education. 

Now here is the punchline to that, what the Department of Education does is distribute funds to states that need help funding their public education systems. Most of that funding goes to Red states because they are the states that can't fund their education systems with state funds, they need the federal funds to keep going, Blue states have the money to fund their state education systems. So, what will happen when he destroys the Department of Education is, public school systems in Red states will collapse...completely.

And yet, people in Red states voted for this monster. They asked for this. 

Why? They were sold a bunch of nonsense called "woke" which they can't even define but which they basically interpret as an attack on white people. Woke had zero impact on their lives, but close public schools in Red states, that will have an impact. That will be an attack on them. That will be a disaster. A tragedy and when they ask how that happened, the answer is "You voted for it."

You voted for millions to die, ethnic cleansing, the shuttering of your public schools. You voted to make Donald and his pals more wealthy while they take away your healthcare and eliminate programs that would cut your prescription drug costs. You voted for this so that the 7 transgender athletes in the NCAA system, among thousands, would not be able to participate in college sports. Seven people. 

You won! We can tell them that now. You won! Enjoy that you won! Who cares about healthcare, education, millions dying, ethnic cleansing...you won! You stuck it to 7 people! Hurray! 

You've owned the libtards! You are a winner!

David is stuck on anger, Dan on depression, Andi on anger, Reg feeling waves of sorrow, rage, disgust, horror, concern, trying to find hope as we get pummeled with more and more sick nonsense...and tomorrow is another day. It ends in Y and will leave us, those lucky enough to have won the intelligence and empathy lottery, asking why?  

I apologize for my words, what they lack in sanity they make up for in truth. But I am thankful, as Brent said, for the company and support of my fellow lottery winners here. We were born for this. And we do make a difference, our fellow travelers that feel like us, they will make a difference.
