I think Greenland and/or Canada are the line Trump cannot cross. I think the Venezuela stunt was his test case, to see what would happen if he made some big bold outrageous move without Congressional authorization against a foreign country. So far, as with everything else he has done, he has for the most part gotten away with it. The thing is, Maduro was considered a bad guy, his regime rotten, and so his invasion and kidnapping of Maduro and his wife were way out of line, illegal, a crime, but nobody is going to shed any tears over it happening and Trump is trying to stuff money in his own and his friend's pockets through this little...um...arrest I guess is what we will call it. If you believe he did it for the Venezuelan people, well, I have the deed to a country called Greenland I would like to sell you.

The problem with attacking Greenland or Canada (which he also wants) is the entire world will unite against the United States if he does this. There are no bad guys in those countries. The Canadians are known for being too nice and too polite for fuck's sake. Those countries are our allies, they are peaceful countries, they are not in any way attacking us or anybody else, they are not sending migrants here, nor drugs, and they have been nothing but best buds with the US of A. There is no reason under the sun, none whatsoever, that this moron and his goons can present that justifies the United States attacking our friends and allies that we currently are bound by treaties and agreements to protect and defend. 

This is, quite plainly as stupid and openly sinister as it gets. No, Trump is not joking, just as he is not joking about cancelling our elections. 

Here is the problem for Donny Dumbass, while the nitwit gutless Republicans have not stood up to him in a meaningful way yet, they will join with the Democrats and impeach him if he attacks Greenland or Canada. They will do that because it would pretty much end us as a nation that anybody wants to deal with, trade with, be friends with in any way (because under Trump we openly betray our friends and allies) and unite the entire planet against us. It would be the death knell of the United States. It would cost our billionaires so much money that their best option would be to flee to another nation. It would cause a war within our own borders, Americans against Americans, not that we are not watching that already with our own citizens against the ICE gestapo, but this would escalate things beyond all comprehension. Even Mitch McConnell seems to understand this despite the fact that he seems like he is no longer among the living. 

Yes, if he on his own tries to attack Greenland, the votes are there in the Senate to impeach him. Not to mention, I think, at least it is my understanding, that our military leaders would disobey his order to attack a peaceful country that is our ally. This is not Iraq or Venezuela here. There are not giant lies to tell about some evil shit that Canada or Greenland has done to their own people or anybody else. 

This would be blatant, no question, Hitler or Putin moves to invade, harm, kill people that are our friends. 

So, we are at the line, intentionally on Trump's part, but it is the line that if he steps over it...even these thus far gutless Republicans will stand up and impeach him for. It is an unthinkable moment, for sure, but Trump and the goons around him will walk us right up to it.
