I cannot believe all the live music there is in Austin. Prolly helps that so many kick ass musicians are from east Texas. Lucky for me, many of them head due north 1,180 miles or so pretty regular.

On Sun 10/13 Michelle Shocked is playing at the Backyard! Go see her - you will not see a more fun show. Guess she lives half the year in N'oleans, so it's practically her neighborhood.

So where is Mr Baerwald hiding out? Hopefully banging away on his book, and hopefully not with a Marlboro red constantly perched in the side of his mouth.
