"Fags"..."rednecks"....we've hit a new low people.

Welcome to America. We all have the right to believe whatever we choose to believe. Pat has a right to believe whatever he wants to believe. So does Brad. Do I agree with either term being thrown about? No.

I do know some gay people and the majority of them are good people. They are who they are and they're happy. I say good for them. Hell, I'll even watch "Queer Eye..."

The only problem I've had was when a gay guy (a co-worker) made an inappropriate comment to me knowing I was straight. THAT pissed me off. I also remember seeing a gay rights parade that was held in DC one summer years ago. I have to admit I found the "flamboyance" of some paticipants disturbing. There was one guy near the front of the parade wearing the stereotypical leather hat, leather vest (no shirt), studded black leather collar, studded wrist bands, black leather chaps, a g-string and big black leather boots. Now if I was gay and I wanted the country to accept me for who I am, I would NOT want this person leading the way in a rally to promote my cause. He is NOT going to help the cause.

I heard a line by a comedian years ago that summed it up best; "I really don't mind if you come out of the closet. Just don't kick the door down when you do it."
