Why is Kerry too far left? A war hero, an anti-war
hero, a Bonesman (!!?), a stalwart if
unsurprising senator, a tough federal
prosecutor, a champion debater, a clearly
brilliant and hardworking guy... An indisputably
solid citizen and a square john besides, with a
huge fortune at his disposal on top pf everything
else. What are the positions he's taken that you
feel are extremist? I know he's not a real folksy
guy, but too left? Who is going to protect the middle and working
classes and what's left of our democracy and
environment from this bunch of borrow and
spend "conservatives"? And really, what is
conservative about this crowd? They clearly
dont believe in conserving the environment.
They don't believe in conserving the protections
that the Bill of Rights has offered us, or
conserving the global balance of power, or of
the lives of this country's youth that they seem
so anxious to squander in oil adventures, or of
health care, or of anything, seemingly, other
than conserving the power and wealth of a few
overpaid CEOs and their pilot fish. That's
conservatism? What are they conserving?I say go Kerry!
