1986 in SA was not a pleasant time. Metal detectors at the entrance to every shopping mall; bomb checks and evacuation drills at schools. I was a reclusive kid who lived and breathed my vinyl. The video for Boomtown was played exactly ONCE on SABC. But it was enough for me to find an import copy of the record. Wish I still had it - but the CD still gets repeated plays on my frequent long drives. I used to listen to Heroes and dream of what could be, someday.
