Hi Pat, I do not know why the rest of the world doesn't view satanic(borrowing from Mick folks:) radical Islam as a threat. Still I find it interesting that neither does our President, in word anyhow.

Perhaps they are attempting to avoid a no holds barred religous war. Although I am fairly certain of our governments reasons for invading Iraq, it is nonetheless curious that we chose a non theocracy Moslem nation to force feed democracy(sic). Which btw, in the spirit of spades, the Moslems don't appear to want. And y'know, I can't blame the Iraqi's(or Afgan's, etc) cause I'm certainly not going to like foreign troops in our neighborhoods telling Americans how to live at gunpoint.

I'm all for calling a spade a spade Pat. Problem is, between you and I, most of the time you support our treasonous President. I have a whole shopping list of reasons for that last, beginning most prominently with the 9/11 betrayal and even more telling of late, his leadership in dissolving America into the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America(spp.gov). You should have some inkling about that what with NASCO scheduled to divide your state.

As to radical Islam, although I do believe an element of the radical will always exist, I am also certain it wouldn't be quite so widespread if the US interventionist policies were replaced by fixing sewage systems and insuring a steady supply of clean water and electricity to civilian populations who would greatly appreciate their neighborhoods not being shot up or bombed.

If after 3 years, you still must insist that the invasion of Iraq was for noble causes, led by a noble President, how am I to take you serious in your judgements?

For this moment I would direct your attention to The One Percent Doctrine by Ron Suskind.

Additionally, I would suggest an article from a former Bush administration insider I keep trying to post if only the new topic button would work properly.

One more question: What do you make of your Presidents referencing the US Constitution he has sworn to honor and defend as, "it's just a GDamn piece of paper"?
