Not only are they watching, they're encouraging it with their misplaced votes (Republicans wants to save unborn babies and keep the gays from marrying, so I don't care what else they do...), and they're encouraging it with their dollars.  How else to explain that a good share of the public seems to hang on the every pathetic word of O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity, Drudge, Coulter and buy anything that they drool out of their one-tracked, hate-centric, sheep-herding crania.

I have this fantasy, inspired by nonother than Tom Clancy, that some humongous disaster will take out the majority of the offensive, self-serving politicians in one fell swoop and let us begin anew.  An enema, if you will, of the effluvia and human feces that we as a country have elected to do our bidding, but then goes out and sends our children to their death.
