Gene, I have been vegetarian for about ten years now. It can be bloody difficult here, when people think a meal without red meat on it is "poor mans food". i have never been comfortable with killing animals for food. I happily drink milk and eat cheese, as I believe the cow does not suffer in any way to provide milk. About six months ago my wife convinced me to try a small piece of hake, and I have had fish at least once a week since. I battle a little sometimes though. You know what the nicest part of a being a veggie is? I never feel bloated or ill after a meal.
