I assure you Kathryn, it ain't always easy. That's one of the reasons I don't name them all. And in fact, the first rabbit I ever butchered was one I meant to keep as a pet.

I had just moved the cages indoors for the winter and was confused without realizing it who was where and the fellow who came by to teach me, well I let him push me, because he was in a hurry, and recognition set in about 5 minutes too late. I'm still sad about it, Stripe was such a loveable bunny(oddly enough not all are). There's more lessons from that session but I'll spare y'all.

I actually took this project up for health reasons. Don't know how it is over your way, but I predict Americans will be subject to more and greater food scares/trageties.
