In the first place, maybe we should have these discussions
privately, as I don't think anyone is interested. Something to think
about anyhow. Not certain, but that may have been part of Eds
point. I trust he'll clarify.-)
~~~Nothing I’ve ever said implied we should be over-legislated. On
the contrary we’re far far over-legislated as it is, I agree
completely, …so get that outa your head, GM. ?!? Good to hear, and I'll worry of it no more!
~~~ When I suggest “common sense” I mean just that: The same
common sense that says…don’t poke at the rattlesnake also says
don’t shit in a river. ?!? Touching upon some common sense you're not thinking
about, as but one example: did the buffalo shit in rivers?
And the old truism, Common Sense ain't so Common.
~~~…& just how freaking cash wealthy is too ludicrously cash wealthy
for anybody’s own good? ?!? Is that really a common sense question? Or is it rather a
subjective value judgement?
~~~…& how much of the sum total of people and seas and forests are
fodder to the pigs on the wings? ?!? I don't know what to do with this one, lol. Is that like pork
chicken wings, if so, I'll try one. Upon further consideration, this
must fall under the categories of pride of life or lust of the eyes.
Something like that.
~~~…& what’s the point of legislators when they’ve seized to function
as representatives of the people; why not just have everybody of
legal voting age fill out a quarterly net.based questionnaire that
will count as votes towards every important USA matter going
down at the time. Let the people of the house & senate, etc. figure
out another way to make a living other than fleecing the very folks
they deem unworthy of the truth & whole good health & viability.
But if you don’t legislate the richest movers and shakers, they’ll eat
you outa house & home. ?!? Yupper, that is happening, and will continue to worsen. We
need a V. Just watched it. Going to watch it again this afternoon.
Nicely done. Loved the special features too. Takes a little magic
out of the movies and yet ... I still just wanna know the truth(of
things).
~~~Look at Big Energy for instance. Anybody who didn’t know that
deregulating (privatizing) natural gas and the like would be a bad,
a very bad, thing, is well aware of it now…and paying out their
asses in hugely over inflated heating costs. Here it is again,
common sense: Laws that protect the basic human rights of the
citizenry are meaningful and a necessity for the ballance of
meaningful order a nation needs to sustain any level of viability &
freedom, ?!? My only problem with your estimation, in this instance, is that
laws will never protect people. The historical evidence suggests
the plethoria of laws benefits the folks you're railing against.
Which prolly has something to do with the fact their affluence
provides them the access to be part and parcel of the writing of
said laws.My answer is an educated, buyer beware, electorate, per Jefferson
and other learned men suggestion.
~~~…but laws designed, at the core, to guarantee the revenue streams
and pipelines of the fattest fat cats & the movingest movers &
shakers, and the gavel bangers for the remunerations game & their
heirs are ALL bad, not just some…but ALL.
Unheard of in an ideal world where there is welcome room on the
bus for both the very driven and affluent as well as the very sleepy
and chill & slightly beer buzzed brick layer on the couch resting at
home on Saturday evening after a 40 turned 60 hour work week
“…precisely because it is recognized that men need to believe in
something bigger than themselves…”
See now that’s the bummer of a certain measure of God Said Man
Said premise, ol Greeny ol pal: ?!? That statement has nothing to do with what I have chosen to
believe. The world over there is creation mythology, and the world
over men employ some premise or another, as the foundation of
the value system from which they live their life day to day.
~~~ If one takes literally [to the very core] that God, on the 7th day,
created MAN and said it was goooooood?!? You've the chronology slightly skewed. Man the garden keeper
was good. Was having those walks with God in the cool of the day,
etc....
~~~…so go now MAN & git with it, git with all a your original sinnin’
and subduin’, get some ass and take take take until it’s all taken-
up, because YOU are MAN and YOU are highest~~just below the
Deity~~above all else, then in the 21st century we find ourselves
“right” here in the quagmire we’re in. ?!? I would argue we are in our present mess because men have
thumbed their nose at God. Which is why Adam and the wife he
chose to keep were told to git from the garden and reduce dto
feeding themselves by the sweat of their brow .... Two prophesies to consider: 1) there will be an out pouring of
knowledge in the end times, 2) if God hadn't entervened, man(left
to his own devises) would destroy all life(on earth).
~~~& then that would make God fallible, ?!? Careful who you say that to(entertaining angels unawares).
~~~…and therefore all creation must have seized to exist. ?!? Truthfully. I don't follow your reasoning through here.
~~~But we’re still here, bro, and it is MAN that is fallible?!? Agreed. We're still here, by the grace of God in my opinion,
but the most important men don't think themselves fallible(all can
be overcome). They think the genes they patent, and the GMO's
they release into nature, are not a problem. And the scientists and
intelligensia they flatter with their money and the associated
prestige go along despite any reservations they may have privately.
~~~…& therefore not as well-equipped to read truth into ancient
parables as well as he thinketh he can. There was once a people
who put many many things above themselves…& they were
goooood and those who put God above themselves and these
people below themselves wiped them out in the name of the God
they put above all things. & I just don’t believe that was your
Creator’s plan at all. NO, that was ego & greed, fear & distrust,
flags & ownership, the desire to get a piece of ass without putting
the bearer of that fine young ass above the notions of getting-off
and getting on with more subjugation.?!? Cortez the Killer, perhaps. But, too, I would remind you that
those Cortez killed(Montazoma was it?) worshiped employing lots
and lots of human sacrifice. My God forbids such treatment.Too, "getting-off and getting on with more subjugation.", is the
province of the Angel of Light, not the Almighty. My opinion of
course, but that's where I've placed my bet.
~~~
In one man’s eyes there’s MAN at the top and all else below, so
that means if MAN is to see anything higher than his grandiose
self, it must be God. Has to be God, …& therefore his word is your
word and thus all shall heed YOUR word or parish into dust.?!? Scripture says not only subdue, but replenish the earth.
Getting a little dramatic there Bear, lol-), we're all returning to
dust, that's just thermodynamics.
~~~But there are far greater things than man on this earth…if one is to
just stop and look around. ?!? Oh horse shit. A red tail is more spactacular than say, your
children.
~~~To take into consideration that although a red tail hawk can be
shot out of the sky with a high powered rifle & scope, …it will be
up there soaring on it’s own born physical attributes, breathing the
cool blue sky (far greater in some ways than man), at the moment
the lead tears is birdflesh apart. ?!? Stop kidding yourself Bear. I've loved it since the red tails have
returned to Vermont but I wouldn't trade a million of them for the
glories one any human child. I think it'd be so coool to fly, and
glide upon the air streams but you're either mad or bullshitting
yourself if you think any aspect natural life is more grand than your
own kind.
~~~So if man is to see greater things than himself, he is only to open
his eyes and see all Creation and all living things…both big and
small…. ?!? I love nature shows, I appreciate what the creator created on
this canvas we inhabit. The more so the older I've become, but ....
~~~Not a sun which revolves around a planet, not 7 days of creation
when so more likely millions have turned, but something far far
bigger than the human consciousness can grasp, & thus more
worthy of unrepressed awe than of pecking-order and moot
definition.?!? Which my dear sir, in my admittedly dim estimation, begins
with praising my creator, Almighty God, and thinking of his love
and compassion when I consider the wonderment of his creation
he's allowed me to live within.
~~~
Yes, GM, we are pawnage & possibly fckt…and so some of us might
as well swim out to sea until our arms are too weak to tread water
and our minds are mostly gone far away into the midst of
capitulation unto the long cold rest, …or we can keep on talking,
those of us who can, and doing, those of us who can lay hands on
a project. ?!? Well I ain't swimming out to sea. And I doubt you are. I'm
sure! I'll run into ya hacking your way through the deep weeds of
these dark times, torch and machette filling your hands. And we'll
nod warmly knowing the there's a duty to finish before we can sit
and have a sip together.
~~~Anything less & who’d be around to fuck up our kids’ heads but
the pigs & the dogs & the busybody evangelicals waiting for
decades for God to send His messenger, His music… and some apt
measure of wrath & rapture? ?!? LOL ..., I love you ya Bear, I really do. Couldn't define why, but
I'm sure we'd be fast friends, despite my God.Keep the faith neighbor
