It was Cat's Cradle for me, at about 16 years old. I don't remember a doggone thing about the book, but I remember that it moved me and made me think an awful lot about life, the world, and what the hell I was going to do in it.

That was sort of my "gateway drug" into a whole new world of literature. Somehow that led to the beat poets, then early Tom Wolfe, then Hunter, and so on.

Could be I need to pick up Cat's Cradle again and start that cycle over again.

Thanks Kurt.
