The reason I asked about already or upgrade installs is that I am concerned that at some point the school board is going to start buying the Dells with Vista on it and I am not liking what I hear. They (ah yes the ubiquitous theys) seem to foist new programs on us without waiting for all the kinks to be worked out. Like at the moment Filemaker 8 which no one knows how to merge data with. But we are all being told that this is what should be used. Another question: When installing programs on Vista do you turn off all of the firewalls, virus scanners and any running programs?
