Give "The Assassination Of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" a try if it's near you and you can commit to the nearly 3 hours. It is not, repeat NOT an action Western, it is NOT a Brad Pitt movie, but it IS a very involved reflection on celebrity, family, growing older, and feeling alienated from those closest to you.

My guess is that folks who appreciate Terrence Malick will like this one. Folks who thought "Young Guns" was the bomb, not so much.
