There are sections of our population who have a more difficult time being self reliant, it is simply a fact, always will be. A nation shall be judged by the way it treats the least of them. ( hmmmm, who said that ? )Not everyone is fortunate enough to have the capacity or opportunity to become a high wage earner.
So they should have more babies and sponge off Uncle Sam forever?

The studies I have seen on any social health care system in any other country seem to indicate that these programs aren't free, so how can it be a hand out ?
So you are saying some pay some don't? They are not free because taxes are raised on all to pay for the Socialized Health Care

God forbid you or your family be wiped out finacially by one unexpected turn of events in a health situation.
