For a model on Internet clamp down, take a look at China and how much free expression is not allowed. For instance, CNN and Internet Cafes are not allowed. And, the Internet they do have is heavily firewalled.

Check into it.

Also, with the FCC allowing fewer and fewer media owners to control more and more properties, free expression is now curtailed by the types of websites that are not allowed. This situation is likely to get worse, as more and more gets consumed by ever bigger corporate interests..

Example:

CLEAR CHANNEL

1995 - Number of radio stations owned = 43 approx.

2003 - Number of radio stations owned = 1200+ approx.

Also, for the past two years, GOOGLE has been quietly removing "controversial" material.

Clamping down is not so hard, Willis.
