While it might have been perfectly legitimate to question partial birth abortions--aren't they illegal now?--when they were legal, Tiller and those like him insist they performed late stage abortions only when the mother's life was threatened or the fetus would not have survived.I see no reason to question the doctors' testimony or their motives.With respect to O'Reilly, language meant to inflame the listener into action could very well result in the assassination of Sponge Bob Square Pants if he were to become the target.Overzealous commentators with their captive audiences can gnaw into a listener's sore spot and galvanize that listener into an eggregious act no commentator would commit himself, regardless of the intent laced into his language.Of course the bad guy here is the murderer. But would he have murdered had he not been urged on into thinking he would be a hero by doing so.True, he was a zealot, but the tipping point came from somewhere.
