A change of the subject a bit, and I agree with you. There's too many "illegals" sitting atop our "too big to fail" banks who couldn't care less about this country. The French Revolution with decapitated heads impaled on arrowhead-shaped iron fence posts comes to mind.I do believe, however, that Barney Frank, and President Obama are working together to regulate the bank and insurance industry in such a way as to, for all practical purposes, reinstate Glass-Steagle, the legislation passed to curb the greed of the 1920's, and rescinded by Senator Graham of Texas in a bill signed by Bill Clinton, both of whom apparently believed 'greed' no longer circled Wall Street.Health care first, though! With respect to respectable folks from South of the border: I sold cars for a bit, and had several Mexicans, some illegal, I'm sure, as customers. I loaned one an amount he needed to complete the down payment one day, and was told, "you'll never see that again." Within two weeks, my customer was in repaying the loan. Also, during this same period, I taught reading in the Literacy Program, to these same Mexicans--I was taking Spanish at the local Junior college--, and I met families who were good parents, kind, neighborly, and good, as in morally good, all the qualities we look for.Yeah, I'd be willing to replace the iron fence posts with a rail some tarred and feathered folks could ride out of the country on. Imagine the mess that tar could do to the inside of a private jet.
