And I understand how the holiness of the 2nd Amendment impedes this, but just above, I think it was Andrea, came up with one additional change: home insurance.

If a home does not have a lockable gun safe/container to keep the gun out of the hands of children, then add a home insurance fee. I pay more for our wood burner and less for burglary prevention, so why not added fees here and there for the handling of guns.

The sad thing about all this is that both sides will use these incidents for non-nonsensical ideas/pushes for their agendas.
