Bonamassa's sound when I saw him was subpar, but he actually complained about it during the show and blamed it on house techs and not his guys.

Buckingham's was phenomenal, but since it was just him and a guitar there is no excuse not to get the mix right. Crowded House was also mixed perfectly, as was the Eagles when I overpaid to see them several years back.

I think Paul Simon's mix at an outdoor show was one of the best I have ever heard. Every single instrument rang through clearly and in the same kind of layers on his albums. Plant/Krauss was a very similar experience in the same venue.

The worst--Dylan, as I've mentioned before; the Rolling Stones (but that's largely a factor of playing in an acoustical nightmare of a basketball arena); Sheryl Crow (outdoor venue with decibel limits--her vocals got lost in the mix); the B-52's, but I blame that on them just not being that great of a band anymore.
