"Alzheimers will be a hard sell as Trump, as far as I know, shows no hint of dementia."

The Alzheimer thing came from Trump buddy and epic weirdo Roger Stone and he threw it out there saying we were going to start hearing about it as a reason for Trump to resign. So far, I think he is the only person that has said this and due to the fact that this guy is not right in the noggin (he has Nixon's likeness tattooed on his back) I think it is certainly something that should be taken with a grain of salt. He has though appeared before to have "inside information" about things going on with Trump.

The "resign due to illness" thing to me makes a lot of sense. This would be a way to remove him and also claim it would not be possible to get testimony from Trump because he is not...as we all know...stable. This would make all of his statements unreliable and the "He does not recall and can't produce an accurate memory of that." defense would come into play. It sure sounds like something they would be discussing. Also if that is going to happen I would think making it happen before impeachment proceedings are started makes the most sense. Trump can't handle the pressure, all the people around him are already saying he is totally unhinged by anything that happens and is a mess because of this investigation. Nobody on his team wants him to go through an impeachment process...Trump would melt down...they tremble at the thought of this.

They already have people constantly assigned to him to try to prevent him from doing totally insane stuff in his day to day business. Literally babysitters because Trump does not understand and has no sense of what he can say or can't say. This guy is a total menace and even McMaster had to admit they don't give him all the intel on things because they can't trust that he won't just blurt stuff out. This is our president!

Putin had a good laugh yesterday offering to "bail Trump out" with recordings HIS spymasters made while they visited the oval office. Putin loves this whole circus. I am guessing since they visited a team has had to tear the oval office apart doing a bug hunt because Putin is flaunting they were "taping" in there which means they had recording devices in there that they were not supposed be there and could have easily left stuff there.

Imagine if this were Obama or Hillary that had done this? The Republicans would have started impeachment proceedings already!

"Instead, if in fact they need a reason for him to resign, it will be something emanating from his narcissistic egomania, a two year olds equivalent of hiding in a dark place, hugging his blanket and sucking his thumb."

Ha, well even though that is an obvious issue he has I think the key to a resign due to illness deal will be that Trump has to agree to play along. Not sure that is one he would agree to.

"Most likely, though, convinced by the power of Comey's coming open testimony before Congress, Ivanka and her husband, ultimately, will talk him into resigning before impeachment proceedings commence. Stubborn as he is, he listens to them."

Word is that Trump is in such a state of paranoia that he currently is even blasting Jared and his daughter. They say he does not trust anyone and is itching to go on another firing spree. It was fun that the Kushner family was caught hawking US visas in China at $500,000 a pop. Nice, I guess this is Trump's real immigration policy. Invest half a million in a family business and we will give you a visa. So, I do think you are right that the idea is that this is not going to last long so rape the country and anybody you can for as much cash as possible while it does.

"Their motive will be to keep their 'hero' from crumbling in public."

Well, it is too late for that but they can attempt to keep it from getting much, much worse. It is about to.

"Plus, quite possibly, a more noble one, that of protecting the Office of the President."

Sadly, I don't think these people have any idea what noble is.
