I guess, in a way, that is what we are doing here when we talk about Trump...keeping a diary or journal of our thoughts.

Seems the Woodward book is confirming pretty much what we have been discussing about Trump for a year and a half. No surprise but Woodward is a respected and trusted journalist and I think a lot of people are willing to listen to him. Particularly in DC.

That hearing for Trump's supreme court nominee yesterday was yet another hideous disgrace perpetrated by Republicans and good to see Democrats at least make some noise to shut it down but what we saw there was how our government currently operates. The Republicans lie and ignore all rules and cram whatever they want to do right down the Democrats throats.

I could not help but laugh listening to part of the hearing when one Republican essentially argued that there should not even be hearings for supreme court judges and that we could do without the process. Then in his speech encouraged Kavanaugh to not answer questions.

Yup, our constitutional republic has in just a year and a half of Trump induced chaos become a banana republic.

For whatever it is worth for me to say it here Brett Kavanaugh is the most illegitimate supreme court nominee in our history. Yet, my feeling is he will be confirmed and the Democrats will take part in confirming him.
