"Which brings up an interesting point for me: should we be able to see
what other evidence there was and be allowed to come to our own
conclusions or is this an unfair approach to the accused?"Here's the simple answer to this...Congress needs to see the full report
so they understand what happened and what, if any, further steps should
be taken. This report is a vital report to clear up a major national
security issue. In the report if somebody was not charged there will be
an explanation of why they declined to charge them. These people DO NOT
have to be protected from Congress. Trump made this investigation a very personal thing to him and he babbled
to the public throughout the entire thing...however...what the
investigation was about was if and how the Russians attacked our
electoral process. The end judgement was they did, so that means what Mueller and his team
found, all the evidence, needs to go to Congress so they understand what
happened. Trump and his involvement is a side issue to the investigation
and how the campaigns behaved and interacted with Russians is absolutely
vital information to show Congress, and the American people, how their
efforts to influence the election took place. If a person or persons were caught up in this, and not charged, Congress
needs to know the how and why of that. Here's what people that worked on the Trump campaign said, and why they
laughed at the idea of "collusion" with the Russians...They said the Trump campaign was so disorganized and inept they could not
have even conspired to work together to turn on a light switch never mind
work with the Russians. That Trump himself had no interest in winning the
election and never thought he would so why would he think that the
Russians could help him win it? They claimed that Trump was so blatantly
stupid and had no interest in anything except self promotion that he
likely never thought of Putin as anything but a guy that could funnel
money to him and that he had for years wanted to be great pals with
because of his money and power. Not as someone that would help him win
the presidency. He was using his run for president to cuddle up with
Putin so he could work with him later. Not to win. And you know what? That all has the ring of truth to it. Trump is a
moron. He was not trying to win the presidency. He is literally the first
guy to win without trying to do so.
