Thanks for answering, Pat. I'm not sure if you saw it but Trump did go through with it and is still attempting to go through with it. He invited those two Republican Michigan legislators to the White House to ask them to throw out all votes and just send electors to the Electoral College that would cast their votes for him even though he lost. They immediately declined and when they did Trump abruptly ended the meeting. 

Next up he is going to ask Republicans in Pennsylvania to throw out all votes and do the same. So, he is most certainly attempting to go through with it and his wacko attorney Sidney Powell said specifically the plan is to ask states to ignore the voting and send only electors that will cast their votes for Trump. 

We are in the midst of it now and of course we have never had a president that tries to stay in power via coup. Another horrible first in this year of horrible firsts.
