I'm not talking about using a lifeless, milquetoast, buttoned-down Brookings Institute egghead to make the case. I'm thinking more an in-your-face, plain-talking, close to raging type, a coked-up Michael Rapaport perhaps. We need to meet the people where they are and you must first get their attention, and given the tenor of the times, articulate outrage sounds necessary. It would go something like this:

"The Republicans are defunding the cops on the beat that make sure the fat cats pay their fair share, which they aren't! This isn't about the working men and women of this country, this is about the SOBs that know how to hide their money, and we end up getting crappy schools, underfunded police forces, neglected fire departments, and crappy roads and bridges.  Our parents deserve better healthcare, and so do we! "

All the while, graphic, black and white images enhance the pissed off nature of the message. I know it isn't about to happen, Dan, but I sense that Biden is in for a gloves-come-off street fight that we've never before witnessed. I wish I had Reg's faith in Biden's victory but I see so many things in his way. Should he step aside and call for an open primary for the Democrats?
