I would guess that SEL is under attack in more than just a few places. Many conservatives think it's a "woke" and dangerous concept. I wish I could remember the specifics of a program I attended prior to the 2022 election that had candidates for the Ga State School Superintendent. They were talking about SEL and how it was being taking out of so many schools and, for some reason, in my head it connected to CRT. I think maybe that's just because they were both vilified at about the same time and were both considered woke ideologies.
