Not to be argumentative Mick but fascism was never defeated, nor died out, certainly not in the UK, let alone in the US.
Btw, I recently learned a most curious fact honoring fascism in America. Surely it's known among the amateur historians herein that Abraham Lincoln and Karl Marx were pen pals but have any of you examined the Lincoln Memorial temple in DC, i.e., how many were previously aware of the fasces incorporated into the DC monument? Curious huh?
