I think she is right, it is part of a coup, and there is a booby trap built into it. What I think the trap is, is this, you have to be willing to be barbarous and put the powers to use. You have to be willing to commit the crimes. 

It's essentially what happened when we elected Trump. Our system has gentleman's agreements built into it. It is expected that a president or a Supreme court judge will act in an honorable way, people before Trump spotted this hole, but for the most part the people we have elected president have not been willing to be openly criminal...until Trump. 

So, the Supreme Court can make this ruling, granting these absolute immunity powers to Biden but Biden won't even pardon his own son, which Trump thinks makes Biden a moron. Trump believes if they give you the power, you use it. Trump would have already pardoned his own son were he in Biden's shoes. He does not care how that looks. 

So, the booby trap is to say to Biden, here you go, you have absolute immunity to commit whatever crime you want, to abuse your power, and even to kill your opponent...but Biden won't. 

Trump, however, would have no problem going on a massive crime spree, we know because he has already done it. So, would Trump kill Biden if he had the power and could not be prosecuted for it? Absolutely, according to Trump he would be a fool not to.
