Just as I predicted on December 10, 2003 right here on this very message board --- Sean Penn has been officially nominated for BEST ACTOR for this years' best film hands down --- MYSTIC RIVER.

For anyone who cares to check my work, the message subject line was RE: MYSTIC RIVER - SEAN'S OSCAR. If you run a search using MYSTIC RIVER as the query term, my post with my prediction on this matter pops up as # 1 on the list.

Sean has already won a GOLDEN GLOBE for his efforts in this film, and one month before THAT occurred --- I predicted that this film will be the one which will bring Oscar to the Penn home.

Some of you may not agree with his politics --- but this guy is hands down the best actor of my generation. He is our new DeNiro or Pacino --- this man is excellent in everything he does.

I even cried during the viewing of I AM SAM --- and I don't usually get emotional over a movie. However, in THAT film, it was all too REAL. THAT was a tough film to watch!

David, I have been fine. Thank you for asking, your concern is certainly appreciated. I did mention a family emergency shortly before the holidays --- fortunately it had nothing to do with the health problems I experience on a continuing basis.
