MYSTIC RIVER is the best film of the year in my opinion.

I am a life-long LOTR fan and although those three films were excellent, what I was talking about was BEST ACTOR.

Another recent film that I thought was top shelf was GHOST WORLD, starring Thora Birch and Steve Buscemi.
