No,I cannot...but it has been undeniably implied, with statements like "you are either with us, or you are with the terrorists".   Thereby, any act of dissent, no matter how trivial, just could be viewed as treasonous...against the "Homeland".  Thank God, he didn't call it "Fatherland"...hmmmm, THAT has a certain "ring"  to it, better not go there.  Dale, there is a nuance in the air, I'm sure you will agree that the "Patriot" act, is there to enforce "Patriotism".   It is the most frightening and, seemingly anti-constitutional legislation, fostered as a form of War Measures Act (the Canadian version), though, unlike the Canadian version, given birth to live on, possibly forever.   Hence, opposition to the Patriot  Act (in whole or  part), must be implied as being UN-Patriotic.

The main thing I resent about  Bush, is that he used 9-11 to pass laws fitting his own agendas.   And..I am NOT, repeat NOT Left-wing, never have been.  But if Kerry is the only perceptible, albeit dimly flickering light at the end of this dark tunnel...I will welcome him.
