It’s futile to beat this dead horse anymore.  I simply want to know what Kerry meant when he said “We do not need to divide America over who served and how”  when speaking on Clinton’s behalf and why he’s reluctant to utter those words again today.  A little consistency would be nice.  Did he really mean what he said in ’92? 

 

The irony here and I don’t hear anyone talking about it is that while Bush was doing his best to avoid going to Vietnam, Kerry was encouraging people to do exactly that…avoid the war.
