Roger,

It’s my understanding that given the chance, this judge as well as other Bush nominations would pass a bipartisan vote in the senate for confirmation.  The problem is that there is a small group of Democrats who have filibustered this nomination as well as others (Charles Pickering, Pricilla Owen, Miguel Estrada, Carolyn Kuhl and Janice Rogers).   President Bush has done nothing outrageous here.
