This is my lame attempt at getting somebody to talk about music here.
I was going to asl if Baerwald has ever mentioned influences regarding jazz. I have been studying jazz lately, and I happened to be listening to some DB and I notice certain similarities in the way that the chords are structured. Not necessarily that the they SOUND like Jazz, but that the places where the chord changes take place, and how the melody lines run remind me in certain spots of some Miles Davis, or John Coltrane songs. I suppose if you see this David, you could answer my question.
