I think another record you may really like is Dexter Gordon's "Our Man In Paris"...recorded in Paris in 1963. One of Bud Powell's last few sessions I think. They play all standards because Bud was brought in at the last minute to replace, I believe, Kenny Drew. You'll probably love "A Night In Tunisia" off this record. The whole thing is great though...it swings...ya know...
Also to me the big new jazz release this week was Brad Mehldau's "Anything Goes"...it's piano trio stuff...no horns...but what great stuff it is...
