No, Mick, it's not DADGAD (one of my favorite tunings), but you're close.

It is Open C..(great tuning also)...CGCGCE . The first 3 strings (low to high obviously) are the "DAD" of DADGAD if capoed up.

Do you like Pierre Bensusan?  The master of DADGAD, and probably one of the greatest guitarists to have ever lived.  I took a master class from him years ago, and he is currently on tour here.  He often teaches classes while on tour, and offers a "fellowship" of sorts, at his home near Paris, France for all interested...A word of warning: you better shed hard, because he is VERY exacting!
