I've never sat down and tried to play it, honestly. But it sounds like that kind of tuning.

When I get more time, I'll figure out which notes my bottlenecked guitars are tuned to and post that. I build the chord based on the root note on one of em like the DAD, etc. tuning and then there's another one I use on my dobro that's tuned in A but I can't remember the notes.  I just think, hmmm, does that sound right?  I don't know anything about "to make this a minor chord, I have to lower this note."  I know nothing of chord theory, I just build the chord.

Mr. Baerwald is right though with learning bad habits!  My lack of guidance by anyone who knew anything when I was growing up has really created challenges for me.  I have my sound but I don't think I fully utilize my hands due to lack of training.  But I'm still learnin'.  "Fifteen long years on a losin' streak."

As Aunt Bea once said, "Andy, that young man my play all fancy, but you play with feelin'!"
