So many writers, fans or critics keep complaining that there isn't any good music out there, when there is actually quite a bit. However, the terrible thing about American culture and American culture delivery systems make it so much harder for this good music to be heard as much as it should.

For example, turn on MTV or any of the other music channels and you will see just about the same stuff hour after hour. And one can see how popular culture is like a self-feeding wave of repetition.

Anymore I rarely listen to commerical radio - mostly I play mixtapes and mix-cds, but when I do, it's a constant hit the "seek" button when that tenth over played song is played again - only to find that the next song is another over played song.

But it shouldn't have to be that way and one shouldn't have to buy satellite radio to find good music (or subscribe to ten different music magazines).
